The wheel presents six mood categories: Comfort, Action, Drama, Horror, Documentary, and Comedy. Each category contains shows and movies that typically fit that emotional space. You combine your mood with available viewing time and your companions to receive a personalized pathway.
This tool was created because streaming platforms present thousands of options. That abundance causes decision fatigue. Users often leave without watching anything because choosing feels overwhelming. The wheel cuts through the noise by presenting only the options that match your actual situation.
The interface uses a visual wheel metaphor because it naturally represents decision trees. Each segment is a mood. Clicking or tapping a segment selects it. The time slider filters by episode length or movie runtime. The companion buttons adjust recommendations for who you are watching with.
Pathways are saved locally in your browser. You can share links with friends to align on what to watch together. You can also print a guide to have on hand during movie night planning.
